We’re Leading Like Esther!

Purim is full of fun, costumes, giving gifts to those in need, and hamantaschen! One theme of Purim is v’nahafoch hu – turning things upside down. Esther, the hidden Jew, reveals herself to save her people! The evil Haman pays the price for his wicked plot! If only the unexpected were always positive.

At NCJW MN, we fight every day to thwart plots against those who are vulnerable or “hidden” for their own safety. Whether it’s access to abortion care, fulfilling the clothing needs for teens and immigrant families at the Camden High School Clothing Closet, Rapid Response funds for families experiencing homelessness, preventing gun violence, or fighting for equal rights, NCJW MN is committed to improving the lives for women, children and families who need it most.

During this time of Purim, please give generously to NCJW MN to help the families we support and the causes we pursue.  We need everyone to help turn that which is upside down in our world, right side up again!

And if you have time (in addition to treasure) and want to volunteer in the Clothing Closet, please reach out to Judith at judith@ncjwmn.org
