Save the Date for Repro Shabbat!

It’s almost time for Repro Shabbat, taking place February 13-14 when we read Parshat Mishpatim. Since it’s launch in 2021, Repro Shabbat has grown from 400 participating communities to nearly 2,500 celebrations nationwide, lifting up the critical importance of reproductive freedom and Judaism’s teachings on reproductive health, rights, and justice.

There are so many ways to take part in Repro Shabbat. You might write postcards to Secretary RFK Jr. and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services urging them to protect access to medication abortions, host your own OneTable x Repro Shabbat dinner (for hosts ages 25-39), or work with your local synagogue to incorporate Repro Shabbat into their Shabbat programming. No event is too big or too small.

We’d love to help you make the most of this year‘s Repro Shabbat! Contact Terri at terri@ncjwmn.org to plan a meaningful and impactful celebration.

We know these are heavy and uncertain times. May we draw strength from one another and find healing through connection and action. As our tradition teaches, caring for each other is how we endure, and how we move forward together.
