It’s Complicated: Staying present and active in coalitions when times and topics are tough

Under both her nonprofit and for-profit hats, Laura Monn Ginsburg has found herself in coalitions when it’s hard. Whether it’s current events, political pressure, or something completely unforeseen, it can be difficult to stay in coalition when partners’ views are different than our own. In this conversation, we’ll talk about tactics for finding healthy ways to disagree, set boundaries, and stay engaged towards common goals.

Laura runs a public affairs firm helping candidates, organizations, and issues align for greatest impact; by night (and, frankly, day, too) she serves as President of NCJW Inc. She previously served as President of NCJW MN, Board Chair and interim executive director at the Citizens League, and President of the Junior League of Minneapolis.
