September 30: Well wishes this Yom Kippur

NCJW Minnesota Logo

As we move through the sacred days between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, we are invited to pause, reflect, and renew. This is a time to take stock of the year behind us, consider how we can do better in the year ahead, and engage in acts of tzedakah (charitable giving) and teshuvah (return and reflection). It is in this spirit that we come together as a community – supporting one another, lifting up our shared values, and giving with intention. We invite you to join us to build a better, more just world by renewing your commitment to NCJW|MN. Why is this important?

We take action.

NCJW|MN shows up when our voting rights are challenged, our reproductive rights are at risk, and gun violence shatters our peace. Your support ensures we never shy away from the hard work of justice.

We grow leaders.

Our award-winning Leading for Change series teaches a multi-generational cohort of women to harness their potential and Jewish values to become leaders, equipped with the skills and confidence to lead and pursue justice. They find their voice and go on to inspire others.

We build community.

NCJW isn’t just an organization; it’s a community that provides strength, encouragement, and shared purpose. We evolve together, ensuring we are ready for both current and future challenges.

This hard and essential work is possible because you– our advocates and allies – who choose every year to show up and to support our work.

Make your commitment to action this Jewish New Year. The Jewish New Year is a time to take stock and reflect on what truly matters. As we strive for social justice, join us to ensure we remain a force for good – a community that doesn’t just wish for a sweeter year, but actively creates one.

Shanah Tovah and G’mar chatima Tova – Good year and, may you be inscribed in the book of life for good.

In Solidarity,

NCJW Minnesota Board of Directors
